On the 1st day of GINNT Expo 2010 (Global Innovation Technologies Expo in Budapest, September 15-17th) GS1 Open Day took also place. In the program Istvanne Dee IT Director of Co-op Hungary and Krisztina Vatai GDSN senior expert of GS1 Hungary gave presentations about the importance of quality and communication of product data among the players of a supply chain.

The presenters reviewed the advantages of accurate product data from both supplier’s and retailer’s. Through results of foreign and domestic related surveys audience could learn consequences of product data of poor quality. Information was also given about the steps have been taken in Hungary so far in order to gain larger extent to the use of GDSN and GS1Perfect. Istvanne Dee presented the results of CO-OP Hungary’s GDSN-implementation pilot project and their expectations about the introduction in production environment.
