The multinational enterprises built regional or global central databases to store and maintain product master data. These central data stores were linked through international data pool provider companies to the network ensuring global data synchronisation.

The characteristics, legal regulation and existing commercial traditions of countries where subsidiaries are functioning must always be considered when building up central databases. 1SYNC, a data pool operated by the GS1 organisation of the USA is one of the data pool providers in the Hungarian market. Mostly run the data pool service of companies originating from the USA. The technical preparation works of the 1SYNC-GS1Perfect connection have come to an end.

GS1Perfect also made the technical preconditions for appropriate serving of companies with the SA2 Worldsyn being mainly the data pool partner of German-originated companies.

Due to the geographic closeness and the working commercial connections and the traditionally good relationship between GS1 member organisation originating from it, there is an active connection to the Croatian eCROKAT data pool, therefore the system is ready to support data communication of this way of commercial activity.
